Hello, I’m Colette.
I am passionate about supporting and empowering individuals to develop greater self-awareness, heal past wounds, and create meaningful change in their lives through effective, compassionate and supportive counselling and psychotherapy.
My Background
Having had my own experiences of grief, loss and therapy, I understand the importance of feeling heard and understood, as well as the importance of navigating difficult periods of your life with someone who 'gets' you and has the skills and capacity to hold space.
Whatever you are navigating, I'm here to walk alongside you- to listen and support you while you progress towards greater self-awareness and wellbeing.
As well as practising as a private therapist, I also currently work at Sunflowers Charity, supporting clients who are experiencing grief, long-term illnesses, anxiety, depression and trauma.

Taking the first step to finding help can be daunting. Our initial contact will be to arrange an introductory chat where we can get to know each other and find out if we’re the right fit and how I can support you through whatever you’re going through.

Our first session is a chance to get to know one another, to see if I’m the right fit for you as a therapist and to understand how best to work together so you can get the most of therapy.

Sessions are £55 for a 50-minute consultation. I do offer limited concessionary rates so please do enquiry via the form.

Person-centered therapy is a way of talking things through with a trained therapist in a safe, non-judgmental space. In this type of therapy, the focus is entirely on you and your feelings. You’ll be listened to with empathy and respect, and you can talk about whatever is on your mind, at your own pace.
The core idea is that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard and understood, helping you gain clarity and find your own answers to life’s challenges.
