Hi, I’m Colette.

I am passionate about supporting and empowering individuals to develop greater self-awareness, heal past wounds, and create meaningful change in their lives through effective, compassionate and supportive counselling and psychotherapy.

Having had my own experiences of grief, loss and therapy, I understand the importance of feeling heard and understood, as well as the importance of navigating difficult periods of your life with someone who 'gets' you and has the skills and capacity to hold space.

Whatever you are navigating, I'm here to walk alongside you, listen to you, and support you as you progress towards greater self-awareness and well-being.

I work in an attuned and responsive way to meet each client's needs to address a broad range of presenting issues. However, my expertise lies mostly in:

  • Neurodivergence (specifically ADHD and Autism)

  • Complex family relationships

  • Relationships, breakups and affairs

  • Grief and bereavement

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Self esteem

  • Long-term illness

  • Trauma

Getting in touch

Taking the first step to finding help can be daunting, and scrolling through reams of therapists can be overwhelming.

Our initial contact will be an introductory call to get to know each other. I will explain how I work, and you can decide if we’re the right fit for therapy together.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer a free 15-20 minute introductory call to get to know each other a little better, discuss your goals for therapy and decide whether I will be the right fit for you as a therapist.

Following this, we can arrange a time for our initial session. I offer online, telephone and in-person therapy so you can decide what you're most comfortable with.

  • Whether online or in-person, counselling is a safe space to explore what’s going on for you, to feel heard, and to move forward to a place of growth and healing.

I work in an attuned way, adapting my approach to each individual, as no two people experience life, or their difficulties, in the same way. Together, we shape sessions around what feels most supportive and relevant to you.

Some clients want to look at their past, including early relationships and formative experiences, to better understand how these may be influencing current thoughts, behaviours, or relationship patterns. Others prefer a more present-focused, practical approach, setting clear goals and working step by step toward change.

  • Sessions are £60 for an hour in-person and online/telephone therapy.

I do offer some concessionary rates, so please do enquire via the form.

  • Person-centered therapy is a way of talking things through with a trained therapist in a safe, non-judgmental space. In this type of therapy, the focus is entirely on you and your feelings. You’ll be listened to with empathy and respect, and you can talk about whatever is on your mind, at your own pace.

The core idea is that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard and understood, helping you gain clarity and find your own answers to life’s challenges.

  • I offer online, telephone and in-person sessions.

I work from Liverpool City Centre near Bold Street for in-person sessions.
